CTM Acquires 1000 Mile Travel Group to Increase Independent Consultant Footprint



Based in Australia Business travel management (CTM) acquired 1000 Mile Travel Party develop its interest in the business travel market through the independent consultant [IC] model. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Founded in 2015, 1000 Mile Travel is a network of independent travel experts specializing in corporate travel services in Australia and the UK.

Founded in 1994, CTM is a global travel solutions provider spanning business, event, leisure, loyalty and wholesale travel.

Jamie Pherous, Founder and Managing Director of CTM, said the acquisition “will complement CTM’s strategic business travel offering while delivering significant benefits to 1000 Mile Travel’s network of independent agents and their customers.

“We believe – through the leadership of 1000 Mile Travel – that we are well placed to expand the 1000 Mile Travel model to our larger markets in North America and the UK. CTM acquired Helloworld Corporate for A$175 million in December 2021. CTM also opened its first wholly-owned office in Japan.
