A former non-aligned adviser has joined the administration’s largest independent grouping.
Councilor Ronnie Prince, who represents the Cartrefle district, will now sit on the Independents of Councilor Mark Pritchard.
His move means that there are now 18 members of the Head of Council’s group.
Cllr Prince, who is also deputy mayor, said: “I have been a non-aligned councilor for about two and a half years and have learned a lot during that time.
“I am now looking forward to working with the ‘independent group’ of advisers in Wrexham and indeed all of the Wrexham advisers for that matter.”
The independent group works with Wrexham independents and the like-minded Curators to lead the Wrexham board. In the Labor opposition, Plaid Cymru, the Liberal Democrats and the now one of the non-aligned advisers make up the remainder of the 52 advisers.
