Marvel's Spider-Man 2 feature

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC Port Released, Weighing In at 256GB

And the moment has finally come. The team behind the unofficial PC port of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has released its first version. This version weighs in at 256GB and contains the full game. Yes, you read that right. The full game is now playable on PC via this unofficial port. That’s unheard of.

From what I know, this version has most of the game’s textures and shaders. Still, there might be some graphical/visual glitches. So no, don’t expect a 100% accurate PC port. Still, the fact that you can play the entire game is quite an achievement. At least for an unofficial PC port of a game that has not even been announced yet for the PC.

As always, we won’t allow any torrent links. So, don’t bother sharing anything in the Comment section. You already know that your comment will be deleted so why even try? And for the love of God. Be extra careful with what you’ll be downloading. I can guarantee you that a lot of fake torrent files will pop up in the next few hours. So, consider this a warning.

For those wondering, this PC port is based on the PC dev build of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 that leaked a while ago. Modders/Hackers took that build, exported the assets of the game from the PS5 version, added a few more tweaks, and then re-compiled it.

Again, I’m shocked with what the PC community has managed to create via reverse engineering. And I can sympathize with Insomniac. This must be a real punch in the gut. Still, we are confident that the official PC version will be better than this unofficial PC port. That is unless the team behind it will keep working on it.

Imagine if this unofficial PC port gets proper menus, support for KB&M, support for DLSS 3 and FSR 3.0, as well as Ray Tracing. This will make it as good as an official PC release. To be honest, though, I can’t see this happening. But hey… you never know.

Stay tuned for more!
