While I agree with your point (a lot of AAA development is outsourced to China, India, Singapore, and Vietnam if the credits are any indication), Death Stranding had the help of three Sony Studios including Bend Studios, Guerilla Games, and Insomniac.

That last statement is yet another L take from you. Western cartoons will never be as good as anime. The Japanese Anime industry is known for its notorious working conditions—it’s an industry driven by passionate artists who get exploited to the fullest. They spend 16 hours a day every day, sometimes including holidays, simply drawing for a measly pay of $2. It’s not enough to even cover rent of a single room and bills.

They outsource not because it’s cheap but because there’s a shortage of animators. They die from exhaustion or suicide, they get hospitalised from overwork, or they leave because of the mental and physical effects (there’s only so many passionate people you can enslave). With the increasing popularity of Anime in the west, 270 studios continue to slave away and not see a single cent from the money an anime show makes.

I played a fair bit of Y7 and just didn’t like the turn based combat and you do do a lot of fighting. It’s too much strategy interjected into what should be fast fluid combat for my taste. Of course nuvo means nogo until the gratis version released anyways lol

Imagine being such a weeb thinking that “AAA” games are developed in 1 country.

Almost all actual development involves outsourcing. Final Fantasy series and Demon’s Soul series are made by Virtuos in Singapore and room8studio in Ukraine. Sega just doesn’t have the decency to credit the oursourcing companies they use.

Most of Nintendo’s core gameplay for their titles is developed outside of Japan, in Nintendo’s Western studios like Canada’s Next Level Games, Retro Studios in Texas, Monster Games in Minnesota, etc, all owned by Nintendo. Nintendo which owns tons of studios in the US and Europe doing the grunt work.

When Japanese studios are actually left to their own devices, they tend to produce boring trash like Hideo Kojima’s walking simulator Death Stranding, or they’re visual novels with horrendous writing that only weebs like yourself would enjoy.

Your beloved Japanese anime, that still has worse animation than Pinocchio from 1940, was produced in China.

I’m sure they simply didn’t bother mentioning the other upscaling methods. The Man Who Erased His Name supports FSR 2, Intel XeSS and NVIDIA DLSS. So it’s almost certain that Infinite Wealth will support these too.

Maybe the decided to make the game forward rendered with MSAA instead of deferred rendered with TAA (the system requirements are more like a forward rendered game)? I’m not sure if FSR 2 and DLSS work with forward rendered games.

Also 4th Gen CPU with RTX 2060? Game code must be a mess.
