Great news for Doom3 lovers as Wulfen will release a new update for his amazing Doom 3 High-Resolution Texture Pack. This time around, Wulfen tweaked a lot of the textures’ difuses and the end result is simply mind-blowing. But have you ever wondered how Doom 3 would look like if it was ported to the original Doom engine? Well, here comes DeathFactoryX with his Revenge Of Evil TC mod for GZDoom. And let us tell you that it looks very close to Doom 3. We should note that the resources were created by Doomero and not the mapper. As we’ve informed you earlier this month, the astounding Sikkmod 1.1 for Doom3 has been released and here are some breathtaking screenshots from it. As you can see, Doom3 is looking great and can even compete with modern-day games. Now imagine if someone could make a full Texture Pack and if Tessellation could be supported via OpenGL to add more details and better geometry to these levels and characters. In case you were unaware, Sikkmod is a general enhancement mod for Doom 3 and its expansion pack: Resurrection of Evil, designed to update the game to a more modern level visually, allow some customizations gameplay wise, as well as including fixes and better organization to stock files to be used as a base for future mods.
